MOD CONTRACT AWARDED TO STS
Storage Tank Services (STS) have recently been awarded a contract to de-commission and replace a number of Steel Fuel Tanks for an MOD Site in Oxfordshire.
The contract involves removing from site, 10 Steel Non-compliant Fuel Tanks along with any associated pipework, fittings etc, ranging from 7,000 to 27,000 litre capacity, these Steel Tanks will be transported under Duty of Care documentation to a Licensed Waste Disposal Site for disposal.
These de-commissioned tanks will be replaced with 6 New Steel Fuel Tanks ranging from 7,000 to 25,000 litre capacity and installed by our OFTEC registered technicians at specific locations on the MOD Site.
These works are due to take around 2 weeks to complete.
