Tank Replacement Service

The majority of our clients require old and worn tanks replaced and we can do this for you with minimal disruption to your like and home, and at very competitive rates. In particular old steel tanks are prone to corrosion and potential leaks or water ingress. If you are having problems with your old tank then the best option is often to get it replaced with one using modern, corrosion resistant materials.

OFTEC Registered

If your tank is not installed by an OFTEC accredited installed and regularly inspected it may invalidate your tanks warranty. We are registered with OFTEC to install and maintain domestic oil and fuel tanks.

Choosing a tank

Whether you are choosing a first tank or are seeking to replace an existing one, our service starts with helping you select the right one. Modern oil storage tanks are available in a wide range of shapes and sizes and are made from either plastic or steel. We are registered technicians who can assess your needs and the property to help you choose the right product for your property.

We can also see if you need to have a secondary containment system, known as a bund. This is a measure to protect the environment in the case of a spill and is designed to hold 10% more than the maximum capacity of the storage tank. Again, we can help you make selections and decisions based on what is best and what fits in the regulations covering tanks.

After the installation

Our service doesn’t end once the storage tank is installed. We offer maintenance in addition to installation and can help with upgrading if the time comes again that the tank isn’t compliant with the regulations or if your needs have changed.

It is recommended that domestic and residential storage tanks are checked annually to ensure their efficiency and that they are environmentally safe. We can conduct these checks for you and provide documentation for your records to confirm the checks have been carried out. We can also double check elements such as the support of the tank and its location in light of any changes to building regulations.
